5 years ago..I started drinking green tea (5-7 cups a day), and worked out an hour every day and lost 35 lbs in a couple of months. Green tea (freshly brewed, nothing added) sort of boosted my metabolism and curbed my appetite. And I also didn't eat past 6pm.

After that I met my bf and 5 years later I'm back at where I started. But the thing is it doesn't make a difference if I drink green tea or not..because my body is already used to it.

So if it's your first time drinking green tea then you could definitely lose some weight, but make sure you don't gain it all back. Eat healthy and exercise. (I wish I would listen to my own advice) Good luck!

P.S. Loose green tea leaves are great, but green tea bags are good too! Just don't add anything to it besides water.
