ideas on making raspberry leaf tea taste better?
October 28, 2009i have just started drinking raspberry leaf tea, and i am finding it extremely bland and tasteless. its like drinking plain hot water. I found it in tea bag form, rather than leaves, so there is no chance that i am just making it wrong. has anyone found any way to make it taste better? or taste at all for that matter? like adding honey or something?
lol, yes, raspberry leaf tea is something you drink durring pregnancy to help soften the cervix, and prepare the uterus.
My Bradley class instructor sent this to me, but I haven’t tried it for myself yet:
"one cup herb to one quart water, simmered down to half and strained. Then heavily sweetened with honey."
She said you could also use this and freeze them into ice cubes which you could munch on in the delivery room.

is this question in the right section???

milk and sugar? I’m not sure! I’ve never tried it! Try steeping the tea a bit longer, too, to get all of the flavor out.
