What is better for weight loss: green tea or water?
November 12, 2009I heard many time that green tea can help me loose weight. I have also heard that water can and is the best think you can drink. But can water make you gain more "water weight" than anything?
Sodium makes you gain water weight, not water. Water actually flushes away water weight. Drinking cold water can help you burn calories, because it takes calories to bring the water up to your body temp, but green tea has antioxidants that help flush away impurities in your body. I would use both.

Green tea has antioxidants, and I’ve heard they are actually making a pill form of "green tea" that is going to be used as a weight loss formula. I wouldn’t only drink green tea, but try to drink some each day (just a cup is fine) for the antioxidants if nothing else. White tea has even more antioxidants and can help you in losing weight too.

Green tea is good, but water is also good. A good weight loss program is to eat lots of vegie, eat food with less fat, salt and carbohydrate and exercise. Before any weight loss program, you should first cleanse your body of impurites, eg. colon and pores.
